Jenna Rae Cakes is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior Marketing & Content Coordinator to support our social media, content creation, and broader marketing efforts. This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone who loves content, has a strong visual eye, and genuinely cares about how a brand shows up across platforms.
You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and Marketing Strategist (Studio Giorg) to bring the Jenna Rae Cakes brand to life online and within our community — from the kitchen to influencer activations, events, and larger seasonal campaigns.
This role is designed to add hands-on, in-person support to our existing marketing team as the brand continues to grow.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Social Media & Content Execution
(Primary Focus, in collaboration with the Marketing Team)
☺︎ Building and maintaining a consistent content calendar aligned with business objectives
☺︎ Publishing regular Instagram feed posts and Instagram Stories
☺︎ Posting and engaging consistently on TikTok
☺︎ Writing captions in the Jenna Rae Cakes brand voice
☺︎ Responding to comments and DMs in a timely, friendly, brand-aligned way
☺︎ Actively engaging with our community to build connection and loyalty
Content Capture & Creation (In-Person)
☺︎ Capturing photo and video content in the kitchen, shops, office, and community
☺︎ Filming and editing short-form video (Reels / TikTok)
☺︎ Identifying everyday moments that translate into strong, engaging content
☺︎ Organizing and maintaining a content library for ongoing use
☺︎ Managing brand and UGC assets within Google Drive
Influencer & Community Support
☺︎ Assisting with influencer seeding, gifting, and coordination
☺︎ Supporting communication and follow-ups with creators
☺︎ Tracking influencer content, posting, and deliverables
☺︎ Assisting with creator visits, collaborations, and in-store moments
Events & Activations Support
☺︎ Supporting in-person events, pop-ups, and brand activations
☺︎ Capturing content during events for social and post-event recaps
☺︎ Helping extend events digitally through Stories, Reels, and recap content
Brand Growth & Marketing Support
☺︎ Supporting seasonal launches, campaigns, and key brand moments
☺︎ Helping grow followers, reach, engagement, and traffic across platforms
☺︎ Contributing creative ideas aligned with brand direction and goals
☺︎ Assisting with email newsletters, blog content, or marketing initiatives as needed
Affiliate & Link-Based Content Support
☺︎ Keeping our ShopMy and Amazon storefronts updated weekly with relevant items (baking tools, kitchen essentials, lifestyle pieces, outfits, etc.)
☺︎ Supporting link-based storytelling across social, aligned with posted content
☺︎ Assisting with a weekly Substack-style roundup (links, highlights, and occasional free recipe) as this channel evolves
Reporting & Accountability
☺︎ Tracking content performance and engagement
☺︎ Sharing monthly insights, learnings, and recommendations
☺︎ Working toward clear performance goals tied to growth, consistency, and quality
Who You Are
☺︎ You have a strong finger on the pulse of social media trends and know how to apply them creatively and strategically
☺︎ You’re passionate about brand building, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
☺︎ You’re detail-oriented, with a strong eye for lighting, composition, and pacing
☺︎ You’re comfortable filming, editing, and posting content regularly
☺︎ You’re organized, proactive, and able to manage weekly rhythms and deadlines
☺︎ You’re interested in learning more about influencer marketing and event production
☺︎ You’re collaborative, open to feedback, and eager to grow
